Transforming Health with Integrated Care: Funding Components
The THINC initiative is comprised of a suite of strategic funding opportunities that together advance knowledge creation, capacity development, and knowledge mobilization in pursuit of transformative integrated care. The funding components include:
Catalyst Grants
These are one-year funding opportunities to support knowledge creation, implementation and/or policy analysis projects aligned to one or more relevant research areas (e.g., integration of care, primary, home and community care, long term care, health workforce). Successful grants will focus on innovations in how health care systems and services are organized, delivered, governed, held accountable, financed, and/or funded and the impact of those innovations on the Quadruple Aim goals and health equity. All projects must be grounded in an integrated knowledge translation (iKT) approach and must be of high priority to the project’s policy and/or decision-maker(s).
